Hello
Cory Steele LPC
My Story
Cory is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Integration Specialist, Psychedelic Guide, and Certified Nature-Connected Life Coach through the Earth-Based Institute. He utilizes nature as a powerful and transformative container for healing—helping individuals reconnect with themselves, others, and the world around them. His work focuses on integrating life-altering experiences—such as psychedelic journeys, Near-Death Experiences (NDEs), and identity-shifting crises—through a trauma-informed, holistic lens.
A lifelong learner, Cory has spent the past 15 years deeply immersed in the study of Carl Jung’s Depth Psychology (Analytic/Archetypal), Viktor Frankl’s Existential Therapy, and Transpersonal Psychology, which explores the spiritual, transcendent, and expanded dimensions of human experience. His academic and experiential training also includes neuroscience, consciousness studies, philosophy, mythology, and indigenous wisdom traditions. In addition, a decade of exploration into Eastern traditions further informs his integrated mind-body-spirit approach to healing.
Cory holds a BS in Psychology and an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He is a certified yoga instructor and seasoned meditation teacher, blending somatic and mindfulness-based practices into his trauma-informed therapeutic work. His approach is deeply influenced by Existential Therapy and an IFS-informed (Internal Family Systems)framework, which support clients in exploring their inner landscapes, working with core wounds, and reconnecting with their authentic selves.
Cory’s path has also been shaped by eight years of immersive world travel, during which he engaged with a diverse range of healing traditions. His experiences include participating in a traditional Lakota Wilderness Quest, sitting in ceremony with shamans working with ayahuasca and psilocybin, and facilitating psychedelic integration work. For the past three years, Cory has also worked with ketamine-assisted therapy, further expanding his capacity to support clients in states of transformation and spiritual emergence.
Grounded in experience, compassion, and deep respect for the human journey, Cory offers an integrative and trauma-informed approach to personal transformation and healing.
